Senate health care bill to include public option - Yahoo! News

This whole thing is just stinking to high heaven... I believe that there will be NO benefit to the public with any of the current bills that have been floating around. Insurance companies are still going to keep prices high. The only concession they really gave was that they had to insure anyone that comes to them.

If Obama Wants To Be King, He is One Step Closer

Obama followers now have a flag to raise their hands to. Pledge their heart to. Bow before. Salute.
And spend money on.
Someone should take credit for this. (But why should they? There are always the minions who buy anything with BO's image on it.?)

The United States has Martha Washington, so Obama should have a name behind it. Every good country needs a story behind its flag. Wait. Are you telling me it all about marketing? NO! It CAN'T be! This is a special flag. Isn't it? ...  Oh ..... it isn't?

Maybe BO needs to take a course in "Marketing America" so he can be the leader we need him to be. So our Nation can be proud of the flag we already have. There is only one flag I pledge allegiance to: The American Flag.

Insurers Fight Bid to Ease Penalties in Health Bill - WSJ.com

I don't get it. If I choose to NOT carry health insurance, should I have to pay a penalty? I get the concept, but the way it works now, would be the best way to keep it running. Unless the proposed plan covers EVERY aspect of the current situation, then it falls short. Period.
